The drive to innovation that is typical to every Pilato project has led us to collaborate with BOSCH on the development of stability control software, specifically designed for our extended vehicles.
The electronic stability program (ESP®) makes a significant contribution to road safety by preventing vehicles from skidding, thus helping to prevent accidents and save lives.
The increase of masses and dimensions of Hearses and Limousines has required
a specific calibration of the braking system made by BOSCH.
For each Pilato’s vehicle a Certificate of Performance is released. This document certifies the state-of-the-art ESP® and braking systems and their conformity to the requirements of the automotive megatrends.
The ESP® system of Pilato’s vehicles is integrated into the global recognized Mercedes-Benz diagnostic system.

The Pilato Design Team, the in-house research and development centre based in Nervesa della Battaglia, is where the DNA of Pilato vehicles is born and developed. An ecosystem of specialised expertise works in synergy throughout the entire product lifecycle: from the first creative insight to production. A department dedicated exclusively to creativity works in constant dialogue with a team of designers and engineers who translate designers’ visions into concrete engineering solutions.
Engineers, workshop technicians and production managers work side by side to assess feasibility, structural calculations, costs and construction choices at every stage of the project. It is this integration of creativity and technical rigour that ensures vehicles combining aesthetics, functionality and reliability — the result of a process in which nothing is left to chance.
